Minutes of Meeting Conducted on June 14, 2011
(Trustee Meeting #8 of 2010-2011 School Year)
Trustees Attending Meeting: Maury Alcheck, Aliya Gordon, Josh Smith, Roger Feigelson Jodi Chall, Madeline Benson, Kevin Tabb, Abbe Braitman, Joelle Kaufman, Carrie Ridge, Sharon Hartley, Eyal Ofek, Brian Lipson, Adrienne Weil, Amy Sosnick, Fran Eastman, Jeremy Verba, Larry Lustig, Marina Milshtein, Shawn Becker, Sherry Lipson, Dana Spanger, and Kathryn Karp.
RCWJDS Staff Attending Meeting: Barbara Gereboff.
Meeting Minutes:
Joelle opened the meeting by asking everyone to spend a minute or two telling everyone else why they serve as a trustee of the Wornick School.
Barbara reported that the School is on track to achieve the projected enrollment of 220 kids for the 2011-2012 school year (vs. 211 students for the 2010-2011 school year). Additionally, there continue to be school tours for parents who are considering sending their kids to Wornick.
Barbara also informed the Board that Nicole will be a principal next year.

Sharon also thanked each of the trustees who will be rotating off of the Board for their service to the School:

The Governance Committee presented a draft of the Conflict of Interest Policy. Several trustees expressed some concern regarding the proposed language and Kevin and Adrienne agreed to study the proposed language and bring it back to the Board for further consideration.
Joelle informed the Board that there would be a Board Retreat on September 1st from 5PM to 9PM. An agenda would be forthcoming.
Roger urged everyone to donate to the Jewish Community Federation, as the JCF supports Wornick.
The Board then met in Executive Session and all non-trustees left the meeting. Joelle led the discussion. Questions were asked and discussion ensued.
The meeting adjourned at 9:15PM.
